Once upon a time, the only way to restore and refinish a hardwood floor involved having it sanded – a messy process that often forced people out of their home while in progress. Now, LPC Enterprises offers a better way: Rx For Wood Floors – a no-sanding method that’s faster, less expensive and more convenient.
The Rx For Wood Floors no-sanding method chemically ‘sands’ the floor, abrading the old finish. The underlying wood is then inspected and repaired, if needed. Then a unique catalyzed wood topcoat is applied. The result is an attractive, clear finish that restores the original luster and makes the wood look like new.
Your newly refinished floor will look great for years if you follow some simple steps. Wipe up any water or spills immediately. Sweep dirt and grit up promptly, as they can scratch and damage the wood finish. Make sure vinyl or rubber backings on area rugs won’t damage the floor. Finally, protect the floors from direct sunlight by closing blinds or using sheer drapes during the day.
