Hammerhead Construction, Inc. has been keeping clients in San Francisco and southern Marin County happy for nearly two decades. This full-service general contractor excels in custom interiors, cabinetry and furniture as well as fine finishes for homes, home offices and businesses. Their in-house artisans produce beautifully crafted products and custom finishes for discerning clients.

Owner and founder Jay O’Neil was born in Newport, Rhode Island and grew up among a family of woodworkers and contractors where he learned his trade. Jay began his Bay Area firm in 1987. In addition to his own team of talented carpenters and craftsmen, he supplements his staff with specialty skills delivered by long-standing subcontractor partners, ensuring every project can be completed in a timely manner. Jay works personally with architects and owners to develop designs that both stay within each client’s budget and result in a fine finished product.
