Cormican Plastering has been serving the Marin, San Francisco and San Mateo areas since 1996. Specializing in plaster and stucco, the company accepts residential and commercial projects of all sizes. All work is backed by a 5-year warranty.
According to Dominick Cormican, the art of plaster/stucco application involves a number of steps, including mixing plaster to desired consistency, applying weatherproof, decorative covering to exterior surfaces of building, and creating decorative textures in finish coat, using sand, pebbles, or stones. Coatings of plaster or stucco are applied to walls, ceilings, or partitions of buildings, using a trowel, brush, or spray gun.
It also involves molding and installing ornamental plaster pieces, panels, and trim. Plastering materials used include base coat gypsum, lime plaster, concrete bonding plaster, and finishing plaster. Colored stucco is created by blending coloring matter and aggregate to obtain desired color.
