Artisans Landscape has been designing, building and cultivating gardens in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1990. Owner Elliot Goliger chose landscaping because of his affinity for plants and love of nature, and in 1995 he became a certified arborist. Mr. Goliger has also studied drafting and landscape design and has worked with and learned from carpenters and masons. He has both a landscape contractor's license and a general contractor's license.
In 2002, Mr. Goliger's design/installation won the Sunset Western Living Award and a Silver Medal at the San Francisco Flower and Garden Show.
Artisans Landscape creates well-crafted gardens in small yards and within budget. Their practical and functional designs suit each site and the needs of the client. They concentrate on simplicity and functionality to make the best use of each garden's attributes, and their knowledge of horticulture results in a true feeling of nature in each garden.
They can provide professional plans and work with local planning departments to ensure the best possible result. They shape trees and will inform the client as to the best time to prune specific species and how to protect them from disease.
