When you want to get it together for your window, bed and table coverings, Paul’s Drapery can do that for you. This family-owned and operated shop was started in 1971, by Paul, the father of current co-owner Sherry Sands, who has been with the company since she was 16. Sherry and husband Larry took over the business in 2000. They are active in the community—Larry is a captain in the Monterey Fire Department and has been with them 13 years.

This is a two-person endeavor. Larry does the outside sales and installation, Sherry does the consultation, designing and ordering. She enjoys designing beautiful windows for customers. Although they do some work for hotels and other businesses, they concentrate on homes. They do large and small projects with the same care, attention to detail, stylish designs and carefully fitted installation. They are attentive, thorough and accomplished in their work because the customer is going to live with what they do for a long time.
