The
company known as Santa Rosa Rug and Upholstery Cleaners opened for business
in 1951. In 1997 it merged with Master Cleaners to become one company.
Now under the direction of Jon Rathjen and his wife Sherri Guinn, it remains
the only true Oriental rug cleaning plant north of the Golden Gate. Master
Cleaners also specializes in complete rug restoration, repair, and color
correction. If you don’t have an exotic rug to clean, you’ll
be happy to know that Master Cleaners also provides expert carpet, upholstery,
tile, stone and grout cleaning.
Although modern fabrics are made to be stainresistant and long lasting, manufacturers still recommend professional care and cleaning.
